If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Just to clarify something that might help others - there's a difference between transcript updates and WMR (Where's My Refund) updates. Transcripts typically update overnight Thursday into Friday for weekly processing cycles, while WMR might not update until Saturday morning. So if you're comparing your situation to someone else's, make sure you're both looking at the same tool. Your timeline is actually pretty quick compared to many filers this season!

FYI for anyone checking - transcripts usually update overnight Thurs-Fri, and once you see that 846 code w/ your DDD, you're good to go! The IRS batches refunds, so ppl who got their 846 code last week prob got their $$ today or tmrw. OP's 3/11 date is solid - I've never seen them miss a DDD once it shows up on transcripts. Congrats on making it through the waiting game!

If you're really concerned, you can call the IRS to confirm they sent the payment. But honestly, their phone lines are a nightmare right now. I spent 3 hours on hold last week before getting disconnected. I ended up using Claimyr (https://www.claimyr.com) and got through to an actual IRS agent in about 15 minutes. They confirmed my refund was sent on my DDD and just needed time to process through my bank. Saved me days of worry!

Thank you! I might try that tomorrow if it doesn't show up. I really need this money for some bills due next week. 😩

Did you check the "Where's My Refund" tool on the IRS website? Sometimes that will update to "sent" before your bank actually shows it.

Yeah, it still shows "approved" with today's date. Hasn't changed to "sent" yet which is making me even more nervous.

That's actually normal. Sometimes WMR doesn't update to "sent" until after the deposit has already hit your account. The IRS systems don't always talk to each other in real-time.

Had this exact problem. Set up alerts. Received nothing. Money arrived anyway. Called customer service. They confirmed notification system glitch. Affected thousands of customers. Still got my money. No harm done. Just inconvenient. Now I check daily. No more relying on alerts. Much less stressful.

I tracked my refund exactly 37 times over 4 days and had the same experience. My $3,247 refund appeared on my TurboCard precisely 2 days after my scheduled deposit date of February 28th, with absolutely no notification. I called SBTPG customer service and waited 42 minutes to speak with a representative who confirmed they had a 16.4% notification failure rate during peak processing days when they handle over 200,000 transactions daily.

Has anyone had success with the "Where's My Refund" tool? Mine has been stuck on "still processing" for months now. Should I be concerned?

0 coins

This is definitely not normal. Here's what you should do: 1. Check your tax transcript online at IRS.gov 2. Look for any codes like 570 (refund hold) or 971 (notice issued) 3. If you see these codes, the IRS likely sent you a letter requesting more information 4. If you never received a letter, call the IRS at 800-829-1040 5. Be prepared to wait on hold for 1-2 hours The IRS is severely backlogged, but March filing should definitely be processed by now unless there's a specific issue with your return.

I'm in the same boat right now! Filed Feb 10th, software said accepted same day, but just found out yesterday the IRS thinks I filed on March 1st. The agent said something about "batching delays" and "transmission verification" that I didn't fully understand. Kind of like my email says "sent" but the recipient's spam filter held it for 3 weeks? šŸ¤” Anyone else get their refund after experiencing this weird date discrepancy?

I understand your frustration with this situation. According to Internal Revenue Manual section 3.42.5, there are actually multiple stages of e-file acceptance. When your software says "accepted," it means the return passed initial format verification. However, per IRM procedures, the official "received date" is established only after it passes through additional security and validation filters, which can take 1-3 weeks during peak filing season. This distinction isn't well communicated to taxpayers, unfortunately.
