If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Check the IRS2Go app instead of the website. Sometimes it shows different info. Also try looking up your tax transcript at irs.gov/transcripts - this shows the actual processing status and any adjustments they made. I've seen this happen a lot on r/IRS and other tax forums. Most people who get their refund without WMR updating never have any issues. If you're really concerned, you can create an account on ID.me to access your full tax records.

Thx for mentioning the transcript option! Totally forgot about that. Def the best way to check if everything processed right.

The ID.me setup process can be a bit of a pain, but it's worth it! Just make sure you have a good internet connection when you do the video verification part. I had to try three times because my connection kept dropping. šŸ™„

I'd be careful about assuming everything is fine just because the money arrived. Last year, I received my refund without any WMR updates, but three months later got a notice that they had miscalculated my Child Tax Credit. I had to repay $1,200 plus interest. The IRS systems don't always communicate correctly with each other, especially during peak filing season. I would suggest checking your transcript in about 2-3 weeks to make sure everything is properly recorded. It's possible they processed your return correctly but the WMR system just didn't update, but it's better to verify than assume.

Just a heads up - the emerald card has different deposit times than regular bank accounts. I got mine at 11:30pm the night BEFORE my DDD. H&R Block releases it as soon as they get it from the IRS, not on the exact DDD date.

Be careful with those emerald cards! Last year my DDD was February 22nd, and I didn't get my refund until March 1st. H&R Block claimed there was a "verification hold" they never told me about. I had to call them 4 times and each representative gave different information. Make sure to check your emerald card account online daily starting from today.

Did you have to provide any additional documentation to clear the hold? I'm wondering if I should have certain papers ready just in case.

I had something similar happen with TurboTax's card last year, but it was only delayed 2 days. These tax prep companies basically function as middlemen for the actual banks that issue their cards. H&R Block's emerald card is actually issued by MetaBank while TurboTax uses Green Dot Bank. The verification processes are completely different between them.

If you do need to call the IRS, save yourself hours of frustration and use Claimyr (https://youtu.be/_kiP6q8DX5c). I spent 3 days trying to get through on my own and kept getting disconnected. Used Claimyr and got connected to an agent in about 15 minutes. Found out my return was just in normal processing but had been flagged for a quick review because of a mismatch with my W-2. Nothing serious but at least I knew what was happening!

Thanks for this! Might try it if I don't see anything by next week. Getting tired of checking WMR every day and seeing nothing 😩

Check your tax topic on WMR. If it's Tax Topic 152, that's actually a good sign - means your return is processing normally. No tax topic could mean additional review.

It does say Tax Topic 152! That makes me feel a little better.

I couldn't get into my IRS account to opt out (kept getting verification errors), and after wasting 3 days trying to call the IRS directly, I used Claimyr (https://claimyr.com) to get through to an agent. They helped me opt out over the phone in about 10 minutes. The service got me past the endless hold times - totally worth it since I was about to miss the deadline.

Yeah, it's just a call connection service. They don't handle any of your tax info - they just get you through to an actual IRS agent instead of waiting on hold for hours. You still talk directly with the IRS.

That's good to know as a backup option. I'll try the online portal first, but if I can't get in, I might need this. Thanks!

Sometimes the IRS mail just gets lost too. The USPS in my area has been terrible lately. I'd proceed as if you're enrolled and take steps to opt out rather than waiting for a letter that might never come.

Unlike stimulus payments which sometimes appeared before any transcript update, regular tax refunds almost always follow a stricter process. I've compared dozens of cases from 2023 vs 2024, and only about 5% of regular refunds arrived before the 846 code appeared. Your bank might show a pending deposit slightly before transcript updates though.

In a specific case I documented from March 2024, a cycle 0705 transcript updated on Thursday at approximately 3am ET with code 846. The associated direct deposit appeared in the taxpayer's account the following Wednesday. Did you verify that you're checking the Account Transcript for tax year 2023, not the Return Transcript? The distinction is crucial for accurate monitoring.
