If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls โ€“ which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Here's what happens with the 570 code after PATH delays: Step 1: The 570 appears, freezing your account temporarily Step 2: The IRS reviews whatever triggered the hold (can be random selection) Step 3: If no issues are found, a 571 code appears releasing the hold Step 4: The 846 code appears with your refund date Step 5: Money is sent on that date (usually arrives 1-5 days later depending on your bank) This process typically takes 2-3 weeks from the 570 date. Since yours is dated March 4th, you should see movement by March 25th if everything goes smoothly.

I'd strongly advise against checking WMR more than once daily. While it doesn't technically affect processing, I've seen cases where frequent login attempts triggered security protocols that caused 24-48 hour lockouts. Given your documentation deadline, you can't afford to lose access to your account information. Have you tried calling the IRS directly? What about requesting a tax advocate since you have a deadline that could affect your employment?

I can explain exactly what's happening with your cycle code: Step 1: The IRS assigns each return to a processing cycle (01-99) Step 2: The first two digits indicate the year (24 for 2024) Step 3: The next four digits represent the week number in that year Step 4: The last two digits are the actual cycle code So if your cycle code changed from 05 to something else, it means your return is now being processed on a different day of the week. 05 means Thursday updates, 20 means Monday updates, etc. This often happens when different divisions are handling your return or when the IRS redistributes workload to manage processing volumes.

Everyone keeps suggesting simple explanations for cycle code changes, but it's not always benign. In my experience, a sudden cycle code change after years of consistency often indicates additional scrutiny. The IRS doesn't randomly reassign processing cycles without reason. I'd recommend pulling your full account transcript (not just return transcript) and looking for any TC 570 codes or other hold indicators. If you see those, you might be facing a manual review situation. Simply waiting it out isn't always the best approach - sometimes proactively contacting them can resolve issues faster.

FYI - SBTG usually processes within 24hrs of IRS deposit. Their system runs batch processing overnight. If IRS confirms deposit to SBTG today, you'll prob see funds tmrw or next biz day. Depends on your bank too. Some post pending deposits, others wait til fully cleared.

This SBTG situation is way better than what happened with Republic Bank refund transfers a few years back. Those would take 5-7 days sometimes! I was pulling my hair out waiting. With SBTG, I've consistently gotten my refund 2-3 days after the IRS releases it. Just keep an eye on your WMR status - once it says sent, give it 2-3 business days and you should be good.

Filed Feb 3rd and got my deposit on Feb 24th. Here's what happened with my WMR experience: โ€ข First week: Only showed "Return Received" โ€ข Second week: No change, still one bar โ€ข Third week: Jumped straight to "Refund Sent" on Feb 22nd โ€ข Money showed up Feb 24th Never saw the middle approval bar at all. My sister had the same experience. The system seems to skip steps sometimes.

Think of the IRS processing system like a busy restaurant kitchen during dinner rush. Some orders (simple returns) get prepared quickly and come right out. Others (with credits or deductions) need special preparation and take longer. And sometimes the kitchen gets backed up regardless of when you placed your order. The February 2nd filing date puts you in the early-middle of the rush - not first in line, but not late either. The amended paperwork is like adding a special request after your order was already in the kitchen - it might cause them to pull your order back for adjustment.

Does anyone know if offsets are applied to amended returns as well? I'm curious because I'm filing an amendment that would increase my refund, but I have old child support arrears. Would they take the additional refund amount too? Also, is there a minimum amount they'll offset? Like if I only owe $50 in arrears, will they still go through the whole offset process or is there some threshold?

Yes. Offsets apply to amended returns too. Had this happen last year. Filed 1040X. Got approved. Never saw a dime. All went to back child support. No minimum threshold either. They'll take $1 if that's what you owe.

Tbh the whole offset system is kinda messed up. I've seen ppl get hit w/ offsets for debts they didn't even know about or thought were resolved yrs ago. Sometimes the agencies don't communicate well and you end up w/ an offset even after setting up a payment plan. Def call that TOP # to verify what's happening.

Be careful. My offset looked like child support. Wasn't. Was actually old state tax debt. Called TOP number. Got details. Had to contact state revenue department. Took six weeks to resolve. Paperwork got lost twice. Keep records of everything. Take names. Get reference numbers. Don't assume agencies communicate with each other. They don't.
