If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

I'm in the same boat right now - been trying to get my identity verified for about 2 weeks with no luck! This thread is honestly a goldmine of helpful tips. I'm going to try the PDF format instead of photos, upload during off-peak hours, and maybe invest in that calling service if I get desperate enough. It's so frustrating that we have to become experts in workarounds just to access benefits we're entitled to. The fact that so many of us are dealing with the exact same issues shows how broken this system really is. Thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences - it's reassuring to know I'm not the only one struggling with this mess! 💪

I'm right there with you - just started this process myself and already feeling overwhelmed! Reading through everyone's tips here has been incredibly helpful. I'm definitely going to start with the PDF format and good lighting approach from the get-go. It's both frustrating and comforting to see how many people are dealing with this exact same issue. Really shows that it's the system, not us! Thanks for sharing your experience and keeping a positive attitude despite the circumstances. We'll all get through this eventually! 💙

I'm currently going through this exact same nightmare! Been stuck in identity verification limbo for about 3 weeks now and it's absolutely maddening. Reading through all these tips has been incredibly helpful though - I had no idea about the PDF format vs photos thing, or the off-peak hours strategy. Definitely going to try those approaches. It's both frustrating and oddly comforting to see so many people dealing with the exact same issues. Really shows how broken this system is when we all have to become detective experts just to get basic benefits. Thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences and tips - this thread has been more useful than any official help documentation I've found! Going to stay persistent and hopefully join the success stories soon 🤞

Anyone know if gig work (like Uber or DoorDash) affects unemployment eligibility? I've been doing some deliveries to make ends meet while job hunting.

Ah ok, that makes sense. So I should still apply even tho I'm doing some gig work? And just report the earnings each week?

Exactly! Always better to apply and be honest about your situation. They'll determine your eligibility and guide you on reporting.

Just went through this process myself! A few things to add that might help: For severance pay - the key thing is HOW it's structured. If your employer calls it "severance in lieu of notice," it might be treated differently than regular severance. Also, some states have a "severance deduction period" where they calculate how many weeks your lump sum would cover at your regular salary, and you can't claim benefits during that time. One thing that caught me off guard: if you worked in multiple states during your base period, you might need to file an interstate claim. It gets complicated but can sometimes work in your favor if one state has higher benefit rates. Also, keep ALL your documentation - pay stubs, termination letter, severance agreement, everything. The system might seem automated but there's a good chance you'll need to provide proof of your earnings at some point. Good luck with your claim! The process is frustrating but hang in there 💪
