If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Thank you everyone for your advice. I'm going to report my work accurately when I claim and see if I qualify for any partial benefits. I'll also look into the emergency rental assistance programs. I'm still worried but at least I know what my options are now.

0 coins

That's the right approach. Remember that properly reporting partial work may still result in some benefits, and you're protecting yourself from future overpayment issues. Good luck with the new job!

back in march my wifi was out for a week and i missed claiming. i just waited til next time & only got paid for the newer weeks. not worth the hassle imo 🤷‍♂️

That might work if you only miss one week, but OP is talking about missing THREE weeks. That's a lot of money to just give up on without trying!

UPDATE: I got through to DEO finally using that Claimyr service someone suggested. The agent was super helpful and said my flood situation definitely counts as good cause! I need to upload a statement explaining what happened along with any documentation I have (pictures of the flood damage, text messages about staying with my sister, etc.) within 7 days. Then they'll review my case and hopefully let me claim those missed weeks. For anyone else dealing with this - they said the key things they look for with missed weeks are: 1. Was the reason truly beyond your control? 2. Did you try to find an alternative way to claim (like public library computers)? 3. Did you request the backdating as soon as reasonably possible? Thanks everyone for your help! I'll update again when I hear their decision.

Great news! Make sure your statement is detailed and specific about dates, what happened with the flood, and why you couldn't access alternative computers. Also mention any attempts you made to contact DEO during that time. The more specific, the better. Good luck!

hey just wondering if ur issue ever got resolved? going thru the exact same thing and i'm stressing

0 coins

Yes! I actually followed the advice here and appealed. I finally got through to DEO (used that Claimyr service someone mentioned - it actually worked!) and they confirmed they were missing my Q4 2024 wages. I submitted my appeal with copies of all my paystubs and specifically requested Alternative Base Period calculation. Got a new determination letter last week approving my claim! The weekly benefit amount isn't huge but it's definitely better than nothing. Definitely appeal if they're missing any of your wages!

Just wanted to add that while you're waiting for the appeal, make sure you continue claiming your weeks even though you're currently ineligible. If your appeal is successful, DEO can only pay you for weeks you properly claimed. Many people miss out on backpay because they stop claiming during the appeal process.

That's really good to know - I wouldn't have thought to keep claiming weeks while ineligible. The system is so confusing. Thanks for the tip!

Had similar thing happen last year when they updated the CONNECT system. The money showed up a week later without me doing anything. DEO gonna DEO 🙄

That's reassuring. I'll check again in a few days and hope it resolves itself. The stress of wondering if I did something wrong was killing me.

UPDATE: Just got off the phone with a DEO agent (was able to get through using Claimyr). They confirmed it's a system-wide issue affecting the federal $300 payments and they're pushing out a fix. The agent told me all affected claimants should see the missing federal portion deposited separately within 3-5 business days. If you don't see it by next Friday, they recommend calling to check on your specific claim.

thank u for letting us know about this 👍

Just to clarify, to qualify for the current FSC program you need: 1. Exhausted regular state benefits 2. Have earned at least 40x your weekly benefit amount in your base period 3. Be in an approved high unemployment county (DEO publishes the list monthly) 4. Have completed at least 5 verifiable work searches per week If you don't meet ALL of these requirements, you'll only receive the state benefit amount. And yes, the maximum state benefit was increased to $375 in the last Florida legislative session.

Thanks for spelling it all out. I've only filed for one week so far, so I definitely haven't exhausted my regular benefits. That explains why I'm not seeing FSC on my account. At least the state benefit is higher now than it used to be. I'll keep doing my 5 work searches and hopefully find something full-time soon.

Whatever you do, make ABSOLUTELY SURE you're reporting any part-time income correctly. If you earned less than $375 but still had some income, you need to report it for each week. I missed reporting $120 from a side gig and ended up with an overpayment notice and had to appeal. NIGHTMARE. The DEO is super strict about this now.

Oh gosh, thanks for the warning! I'm definitely reporting everything. I'm working part-time retail right now but my hours got cut way back. I report every penny I make each week, even tips.
