Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

This might sound weird, but have you tried reaching out on social media? Sometimes tweeting at them or messaging on Facebook can get a response. Public pressure and all that.

Yeah, they're pretty active on Twitter. Just be polite but firm. Something like "Day 30 of waiting for an update on my disability claim. Any assistance would be appreciated @[their handle]

Has anyone tried contacting their state representative? I've heard that can sometimes speed things up when EDD is being particularly useless.

•I did this! It actually helped. Took about a week, but my rep's office got EDD to resolve my issue. Def worth a shot if you're getting nowhere with EDD directly.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your attempts to contact EDD, including dates and times. 2. Check your spam folder regularly. Sometimes important emails end up there. 3. If you can't get through on the phone, try their social media. Sometimes they respond on Twitter or Facebook. 4. As someone else mentioned, contacting your local rep can help. 5. If all else fails, consider filing a complaint with the state labor board. Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up!
