Plot twist: what if we all showed up at the EDD office with pitchforks and torches? π₯ Jk jk... unless? π
Chill, it's just a joke. But fr, we need to do something to fix this broken system.
Hey OP, hang in there. I know it's tough, but try to stay busy while you wait. Maybe pick up a side gig or learn a new skill? It helped me stay sane during my unemployment saga.
I'm in the same boat, OP. Been waiting for 6 weeks now. This system is broken af.
Thanks, you too. We're all just tryna stay afloat here π£ββοΈ
Anyone else notice how the EDD website always seems to crash right when you need it most? π #EDDfail
Hey OP, what specific issue are you having? Might be able to give more targeted advice if we know what's going on.
Thanks for asking! My payments have been stuck on pending for 3 weeks now, and I can't figure out why. No one's answering my messages in the portal either.
Have you tried reaching out to your local assemblyperson? They can sometimes help speed things up with EDD.
I didn't know that was an option. How do I find out who my assemblyperson is?
guys i think i cracked the code. if u call and press 2 for employers, then 4 for general questions, u can sometimes get through to a real person faster. worked for me last week!
Isn't that kinda unethical tho? π€

I swear, dealing with DI is like playing a game where the rules keep changing and no one tells you π€‘ Good luck, OP!

β’LOL so true. It's like they're playing 4D chess and we're stuck with checkers π

Has anyone tried contacting their local representative about these issues? I've heard sometimes they can help push things through.

β’Wait, really? How do you even find out who your local rep is?

β’Just google '[your city] state representative'. Most have contact forms on their websites. Worth a shot!
