If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Just to follow up on this - since you completed the interview already and provided verification documents, you should be in the final determination phase. San Bernardino County's official average processing time this quarter is 22 days according to their website. \n\nOne thing to check: if you created a BenefitsCal account, log in and make sure there aren't any \

Just logged into BenefitsCal and you were right - there was a task asking for my rental agreement! It was added 3 days ago and I had no idea. Uploading it right now. THANK YOU for this suggestion, seriously might have saved my application from being delayed even longer.

To clarify for everyone: The federal legislation that authorized Emergency Allotments for CalFresh (minimum $95 extra per household) officially ended them after March 2025. Here's what's happening: 1. March 2025 was the FINAL month for emergency allotments 2. Some counties issue benefits for a month during the first week of the following month (so March benefits in early April) 3. This is why some people received their final emergency allotment in April 4. There will NOT be any emergency allotments for April or any month after If you need help with getting more benefits due to changed circumstances, you can submit: - A SAR7 (Semi-Annual Report) if it's your reporting month - A "Change Report" through your BenefitsCal account or county office if you've had increased expenses or decreased income - A request for reassessment if you have new medical expenses or dependent care costs You can verify all this information on the CDSS website or by contacting your county office.

This is extremely helpful - thank you for the clear breakdown. I'll share this information with my client so she can understand exactly what's happening with the program ending.

oh wow that actually makes sense now thanks for explaining it so clearly!

Just to clarify something I've seen causing confusion: P-EBT benefits and regular CalFresh (SNAP) are completely separate programs with different eligibility requirements and issuance schedules. P-EBT 3.0 for children under 6 is specifically for kids in CACFP-participating daycares or preschools. If you need additional food assistance for your family beyond these quarterly P-EBT benefits, you should consider applying for regular CalFresh through BenefitsCal.com, which provides monthly benefits based on household size and income.

We actually do have regular CalFresh too! The P-EBT was just unexpected extra help. Do you know if I need to report these P-EBT cards on my next SAR7 for CalFresh? Or are they considered separate?

just fyi i did try that under-6 hotline number someone posted earlier today and actually got through! they said the next load for P-EBT 3.0 will be April 16-22 depending on your county. hope that helps!

Thank you so much for sharing this! That's great news and gives me a specific timeframe to watch for. I appreciate you coming back to update us after you called! 🙏

btw did u ever get a letter saying ur benefits were being reduced or anything? sometimes they adjust ur amount and dont tell u clearly

No, no letters at all. My benefit amount should be the same ($587/month) based on my last recertification in April.

Good news - I just checked the latest CalFresh policy bulletin, and there's actually a special process for the 4.0 card transition issues. Since this was a statewide card replacement program, they're supposed to have special protocols for handling benefit transfer problems. When you call, specifically mention it's related to the "EBT 4.0 Card Migration" and ask if there's a specialized team handling those issues. This might get you to the right person faster.

Thank you so much! I'll definitely mention the "EBT 4.0 Card Migration" specifically. Hopefully that will help them understand exactly what's going on.

my cousin has 6 kids and they get like $1,900 in calfresh every month! is that normal?? seems like so much but i guess with 8 people total maybe its right?

0 coins

Yes, that's within the normal range for a household of 8. Maximum monthly benefit for a household of 8 in 2025 is around $1,950. Benefits are calculated based on household size and income after all eligible deductions. Larger families with lower incomes receive more because they have more people to feed.

Just wanted to update everyone - I called my county office today (took forever to get through) and they confirmed we should still qualify with our new combined income. They said to make sure I submit our updated income info through the SAR7 form when I get it, and to include documentation of our childcare expenses and rent to maximize our deductions. Thanks everyone for your helpful advice!
