If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

I'm going through something very similar and this thread has been incredibly helpful! I've been stuck for 4 weeks with my severance package causing a hold-up, even though I won't actually receive any of the money until December. What's really frustrating is that I followed all the online prompts correctly, but apparently the system can't handle the nuance of "future payments." Reading about the Deductible Income Unit is a game-changer - I had no idea this specialized department existed and explains why the regular reps keep giving me the runaround. I'm definitely going to try the 8:01 AM calling strategy and ask specifically for that unit. One question for those who've had success: when you finally got through to the right department, did they ask for any specific documentation beyond the severance agreement? I want to make sure I have everything ready to go when I finally get connected. This whole process has been such a nightmare, but it's reassuring to know there are actually people who can fix these timing issues once you reach them. Thanks to everyone sharing their experiences - this community support means everything when the system is this broken!

From what I've gathered reading through everyone's experiences, it sounds like having your severance agreement is the main document they need, but I'd also recommend having your last pay stub and any documentation showing the specific payment dates/schedule. Someone mentioned earlier that being super specific about when each payment will be received (not just the total amount) is crucial for them to adjust the system properly. I'm planning to create a simple timeline document that shows exactly when I'll receive each portion of my severance - December in your case - so there's no confusion. It's crazy that we have to become experts in their own system just to get the help we're entitled to, but at least this thread has given us a roadmap! Good luck with the 8:01 AM calling strategy - I'm going to try the same approach this week.

I went through this exact same issue a few months ago and it was absolutely maddening! The key thing that finally resolved it for me was getting through to someone who understood that Nevada DETR treats severance differently depending on whether you've actually received the money or not. What worked for me: I called right at 8:00 AM sharp and kept asking to be transferred until I got someone from what they call the "Deductible Income Unit" - regular customer service reps literally cannot fix severance timing issues. When I finally got the right person, they explained that I needed to report it as "pending severance" with specific future payment dates rather than the lump sum amount. The breakthrough moment was when the specialist manually adjusted my claim to show that I was eligible for benefits until I actually received each severance payment. It took about 2-3 weeks after that call for the back payments to start processing, but I did get everything I was owed retroactively. My advice: document the exact dates you'll receive each portion of your severance (even if it's months away), keep certifying every week no matter what, and don't give up on reaching that specialized unit. The system is completely broken for these situations but there are people there who can actually fix it once you get to them!

I went through this exact same nightmare about 6 months ago and it was absolutely maddening! What finally worked for me was a two-pronged approach: First, I visited my local Assembly member's office and filed a constituent services request - they actually have staff who can contact DETR directly on your behalf. Second, I found that calling the main DETR line at 8:00 AM sharp while ALSO having someone else call the employer hotline (775-684-0350) at the same time increased my chances of getting through somewhere. It sounds crazy but we tag-teamed it and got connected within 20 minutes. Once I finally talked to someone, they told me my account had been flagged for "potential fraud" just because I'd moved recently and my address didn't match perfectly. They cleared it up in about 5 minutes once I verified my info. The system is broken but don't lose hope - keep trying multiple approaches and you'll eventually break through! Also document everything in case you need to escalate further.

Wow, the constituent services approach is brilliant! I never would have thought to contact my Assembly member's office for help with DETR issues. That's such a smart way to get someone with actual authority to intervene on your behalf. The tag-team calling strategy is also genius - having two people call different numbers simultaneously to increase the odds. I'm definitely going to try both of these approaches. It's ridiculous that your account got flagged just for moving, but at least it shows how quickly they can actually fix things once you get the right person on the phone. Thanks for sharing such detailed and creative solutions! @Michael Green do you remember roughly how long it took for the Assembly member s'office to follow up with DETR after you filed the request?

I'm dealing with this exact same issue right now! Been locked out for about a week and getting nowhere with the password reset. Reading through everyone's experiences here, it seems like there are a few proven strategies that actually work: the early morning calling marathon, going to JobConnect offices in person, and even reaching out to Assembly members for help. What really strikes me is how many people are going through this - it's clearly a systemic problem with their account security being way too aggressive. I'm going to try the 8:00 AM calling strategy tomorrow with all my documents ready, and if that doesn't work, I'll hit up my local JobConnect office. Thanks to everyone who shared what actually worked for them - it's so much more helpful than the generic "try calling" advice you get everywhere else. This thread should honestly be pinned somewhere because it's like a masterclass in actually navigating the DETR system!

This thread really has become the ultimate guide for dealing with DETR account lockouts! I'm in the same boat as everyone else here - been locked out for 3 weeks now and getting absolutely nowhere. It's wild how consistent everyone's experiences are with the overly aggressive security system. I'm planning to try the multi-pronged approach: 8 AM calling marathon first, then JobConnect office visit if that fails, and maybe even contact my Assembly member if I'm still stuck. The fact that @Michael Green got help through constituent services gives me hope that there are actually people who can cut through this bureaucratic nightmare. It s'honestly ridiculous that we need a whole strategy guide just to access our own unemployment accounts, but I m'grateful everyone is sharing what actually works. Here s'hoping we all get through this mess soon! 🙏

I'm in a similar situation and feeling really overwhelmed by all this bureaucracy! Reading through everyone's advice here is giving me hope though. I think I'm going to try a multi-pronged approach - starting with calling right at 8am like @CosmicCommander suggested, while also reaching out to my Assembly member's office like @e1d626d161e2 mentioned. That constituent services route sounds promising since it bypasses the phone nightmare entirely. I'm also going to start documenting every attempt I make from now on. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences - it really helps to know we're not alone in this struggle! 🙏

That sounds like a solid plan @f8cb44de173c! I think you're absolutely right about taking a multi-pronged approach - don't put all your eggs in one basket. The 8am calling strategy combined with reaching out to your Assembly member gives you the best chance of success. And definitely start that documentation now - even if previous attempts weren't logged, having a record going forward will only help your case. It's so frustrating that we have to jump through all these hoops just to get what we're entitled to, but this community has shown there ARE ways to break through the system. Wishing you the best of luck! 🤞

I've been following this thread and wow, there's so much valuable advice here! I'm currently dealing with Nevada DETR myself and have been stuck in the phone loop for about 3 weeks now. @e1d626d161e2 your Assembly member tip is genius - I never thought about going through elected officials for help with unemployment issues. I'm definitely going to try that route first thing Monday morning. @9f241d062528 thanks for mentioning the UI Online backdating option too - I had no idea that existed! It's crazy that we have to become experts in navigating broken systems just to get benefits we're entitled to, but I'm grateful for this community sharing real solutions that actually work. Going to combine the early morning calling strategy with the Assembly member outreach and see what happens. Fingers crossed! 🤞

I've been lurking here for weeks dealing with the same issue and finally have something to add! After reading all these great tips, I tried combining a few strategies yesterday and it actually worked. I used the auto-redialer app someone mentioned, called the technical support line (775-684-0350) at exactly 8:02 AM on a Tuesday, and when they answered I politely explained my situation and asked if they could transfer me to someone who could help with my weekly claim issue. The person was super helpful and got me transferred without putting me back in the general queue! The whole call took about 15 minutes instead of the usual hours of trying. It's sad that we need this level of coordination just to get basic help, but this community has been a lifesaver. Thanks everyone for sharing what actually works! 🙏

This is amazing - thank you for sharing the step-by-step breakdown! I love that you combined multiple strategies from this thread and actually got results. The technical support transfer trick seems to be the real secret weapon here. I'm definitely going to try this exact approach tomorrow morning. It's honestly incredible how this community has basically reverse-engineered the DETR system for each other. We shouldn't have to be this strategic, but I'm so grateful people like you are sharing what actually works! 🙌

This whole thread is like a masterclass in navigating DETR! 📚 I've been bookmarking all these strategies - the auto-redialer app, calling at 8 AM sharp, using the technical support line for transfers, having everything written down beforehand. It's honestly wild that we've had to create our own unofficial guide just to access basic services, but I'm so grateful this community exists. About to try the Tuesday/Wednesday 8 AM technical support transfer combo that seems to be working for people. Fingers crossed! And to the original poster - don't lose hope, these folks have given you a goldmine of actually tested strategies. We've got your back! 💪

I'm dealing with the same exact issue! Filed my claim about 2 weeks ago and got that "please call" message. I've been trying literally every day, multiple times a day, and nothing. The busy signal is soul-crushing at this point. I saw some people mentioning trying right when they open - what time do they actually open? I've been calling around 9am but maybe I need to be earlier? Also really appreciate everyone sharing their experiences here, it helps to know I'm not alone in this nightmare. The stress of needing the money plus not being able to reach anyone is just overwhelming. Hang in there everyone! 💪

0 coins

They typically open at 8am, so try calling right at 8:00 sharp! I've found that even calling at 8:01 makes a huge difference. The first few minutes seem to be your best shot before the lines get completely overwhelmed. Also, have you tried the callback option if they have one? Some offices offer that instead of waiting on hold. Keep your head up - we're all in this together! 🤞

I'm in the exact same boat! Filed my claim about a month ago and have been getting the runaround ever since. What's really helped me is calling at exactly 8:00 AM when they open - I actually got through twice that way, though one time I got disconnected after waiting 2 hours 😤. I've also been documenting everything like others suggested. One tip that worked for a friend: try calling on Tuesdays or Wednesdays - apparently Mondays and Fridays are the absolute worst. Also, if you have any friends or family who can help call from different numbers simultaneously, that increases your odds. It's ridiculous that we have to resort to these tactics just to get basic assistance, but here we are. Don't give up - I know it's exhausting but persistence does eventually pay off!

This is really helpful advice! I hadn't thought about specific days of the week making a difference. I've been calling randomly throughout the week but I'll definitely try focusing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The idea of having multiple people call at once is smart too - I might ask my sister to help. It's crazy that we have to strategize like this just to reach a government office, but I appreciate everyone sharing what's actually worked for them. The 8 AM tip keeps coming up so I'm definitely going to set my alarm earlier tomorrow. Thanks for keeping everyone motivated - this whole process is so demoralizing but knowing others have eventually gotten through gives me hope! 🙏
